You will need to snag a couple of parts. First is the 350, obviously. When you get the engine get the fan shroud, radiator, throttle body, and ECM also. A 7747 or 8747 computer should be a direct swap. You will have to get new block-side engine mounts. The frame side of things is the same from a 4.3 to a V-8, but the block side is different to account for the different length. The radiator and fan shroud will also have to be swapped since the V-8 radiator is larger and the shroud shorter. Behind the glovebox you will find the ECM which you will have to swap for the V-8 calibration. You will also need to swap to the older 1-wire oxygen sensor most likely. It is a pretty straight forward swap, but it is still work.
