To pull the engine from a 1977 B350 van, first disconnect the battery and remove any components obstructing access to the engine, including the air cleaner, radiator, and exhaust connections. Label and disconnect all electrical wiring, fuel lines, and hoses attached to the engine. Use an engine hoist to lift the engine; attach the hoist to the engine's lifting points and ensure it’s securely fastened. Finally, slowly raise the engine while checking for any remaining connections before fully removing it from the van.
