There is a tool at the auto stores to remove this radio about $ 6.00. It is 2 u-shaped pieces of stiff wire. Push them into the 4 holes in the front of the radio to unlock it then pull straight out , it's very simple , good luck from ghost95......

Begin by removing the decorative stereo retaining cover from your 1999 Ford F2 50 pickup truck stereo. Remove the stereo retaining screws. The stereo will slide out. Remove the wiring harness and the antenna cable from the back of the stereo.
