I suggest picking up a Haynes or Chilton manual for your car.

Removing the tank is a fairly big job requiring a floor jack to handle

the tank once it's loose.

Since you will be dealing with fuel, you'll want to avoid any sparking

issues. I'd disconnect the battery for safety's sake. Remember that you

will have to reprogram your radio after reconnecting the battery. Make

sure that you know the code.
