This model has what is called a Shepard hook and within the hook there is a small hole that the clip snaps in. Most likely it is a plastic clip, so I take a pliers and carefullty break the clip because they can get seized in place.I have done many of these and that works the best.
Razor blade
To remove the blade from the blade holder, first ensure the machine is turned off and unplugged for safety. Locate the release mechanism, which may be a lever or button, and press or pull it to disengage the blade. Carefully slide the blade out of the holder, taking care not to touch the sharp edges. Once removed, you can clean the blade and holder thoroughly before reassembling.
Remove the entire skate blade holder - screws and all - from the boot, and replace it with a new skate blade holder with skate blade.
Remove the black cap at base, remove nut, then gently pry up from under the arm this can be a pain but be careful the splines are made to strip to avoid damage to the transmission arms.
Remove the bolt holding the blade to the left
A paint pen. then remove with a razor blade.
Turn the wiper switch to the on position. Turn the key on and as soon as the wipers go straight up then turn them off. That will make it easier to remove the blade. Lift the wiper away from the windshield while pulling down. Be sure to not let the wiper fall against the windshield. Push the new one in place and you are done.
To remove the windshield wipers from a 1989 Dodge van, first ensure the wipers are in the "off" position. Lift the wiper arms away from the windshield, then locate the small tab or clip on the underside of the wiper blade where it connects to the arm. Press or lift this tab to release the blade from the arm, then slide the blade off. Repeat the process for the other wiper blade.
To remove a windshield wiper from a Mercedes-Benz 180, first, lift the wiper arm away from the windshield. Look for a small tab or lever on the wiper blade where it attaches to the arm; press this tab while sliding the wiper blade downwards to detach it from the arm. Once it's loose, you can fully remove the wiper blade. Repeat the process for the other wiper if needed.

To change the wiper blades on a 1988 Chevrolet Celebrity, first lift the wiper arm away from the windshield. Press the release tab on the old wiper blade, then slide it off the arm. Align the new wiper blade with the arm, ensuring it locks into place, and gently lower the wiper arm back onto the windshield. Repeat the process for the other wiper blade if needed.

Locate the small tab on the underside of the wiper blade where it connects to the arm, press this tab, and slide the blade downwards to detach it from the arm. Repeat this process for the other wiper blade. Once both blades are removed, you can replace them with new ones if needed.
