"ISC RPM out of range" typically refers to an issue with the Idle Speed Control (ISC) system in a vehicle, indicating that the engine's idle speed is not within the expected parameters. This can be caused by various factors, including a malfunctioning ISC valve, vacuum leaks, or issues with the engine management system. It may result in rough idling, stalling, or poor engine performance. Diagnosing the specific cause often requires checking for error codes and inspecting the ISC components.

ISC Kosmotras was created in 1997.
The RPM range for a MerCruiser 260 motor typically spans from 400 to 4,600 RPM. The engine is designed to operate efficiently within this range, with peak horsepower generally achieved around 4,200 to 4,600 RPM. It's important to consult the specific owner's manual or manufacturer specifications for the exact RPM limits for your model.
5000-6000 rpm
About 2300 to 2450 RPM (In that range) At 70 it should be around 2100 RPM.
That model has a max continuous RPM of 11,000, and a max RPM of 12,000
it sounds like your ISC is coked up. get a can of throttle body cleaner and clean your throttle body. Do NOT get throttle body/carb cleaner on the ISC. If you do, it will get in and destroy the coils on the inside and that may in turn fry your ECU. To check if it is your ISC, there is an analogue idle screw that will rev up your RPM. If this fixes it, do NOT leave the screw in that position. It's bad for your car. It means you need to either A. clean the throttle body out more or B. get a new ISC.
