Before replacing the flasher you should check the fuses inside the car and in the engine compartment including fuseable links, then check for voltage in the flasher connector with the switch on, it may be that your switch is the problem. Newer cars use lighting control modules which would be the next place to check.

On my 2005 Toyota highlander the turn signal ON alarm no longer works?

If you are referring to the "alarm" that clicks when the signal is activated - - that "clicking" sound is generated by the turn signal flasher unit itself. Check for need of replacement because the chances are good that if it is not working, all or some of your exterior directional signals are probably not working either.

Is the flasher on a 1992 Toyota?

The flasher relay on a 1992 Toyota is typically located under the dashboard, near the driver's side, or in the fuse box. It is responsible for controlling the turn signal and hazard lights. If the turn signals or hazards are not working, the flasher may need to be replaced. Always consult the vehicle's manual for specific location and replacement instructions.

How to access the flasher stat for a 1997 Chevrolet Blazer?

The hazard and turn indicator flashers are located under the dashboard, directly below the radio and just to the left of the cigarette lighter/ashtray. There are two side-by-side, with the turn indicator flasher on the right. You need to begin by removing panels starting from below the steering column, then working your way to the right. There was another answer that stated it was located behind the glove box, but those are relays.

My indicators dont work but the hazards do on your 97 citroen saxo?

If your indicators are not working but the hazard lights are functioning on your 1997 Citroën Saxo, it could indicate a problem with the indicator switch or the flasher relay. The flasher relay controls both the indicators and the hazards, so if the hazards work, the relay is likely fine. Check the indicator bulbs for any burnouts and inspect the wiring and connections for any damage. If everything appears intact, the issue may lie within the indicator switch itself, which may need to be replaced.
