its the shield on top of the motor, take the 4 bolts out of it and be careful removing it around the metal hoses, undo the wire harness on the right side,it might take a lil wiggling to get the boots to detach from the spark plugs, when you get the shield off flip it over and remove the housing by removing the 4 screws and slightly lifting up so you can get to the wire harnes under it,when you get the wire harness removed flip the housing over and there should be 2 coilpacks,be careful removing them cause they hook up to nipples underneath and there are rubberbands around that are hell trying to put back on.nut if your replacing them be sure to check to make sure it just ain't your housing that is grounding out to your motor, check for black lightning patterns around the housing(where the housing has a hole in it it will ground out to your motor),usually a good epoxy that takes high heat will fix it and you wont have to spend as much money, hope this all helps if not reach me at derek420evett@gmail.com

a There are coil "pack" for ignition. 6" pack" carburetors.
The 1994 Chevrolet Cavalier typically has one coil pack, as it is equipped with a distributor-less ignition system (DIS). This coil pack serves multiple cylinders, firing them in sequence as needed. If the vehicle has a four-cylinder engine, it will use a single coil; however, variations in engine type can influence the ignition system configuration. Always refer to the vehicle’s service manual for specific details.
lots of fun....locate the coil pack usually on the front of the motor towards the bottom.take off the coil packs and the module is underneath.under the exhaust manifold.
part of your coil pack could be bad or your ignition control module could be bad it just bolts right on top of your coil pack
