1/2 tons only have 6 lug nuts. The 3/4 ton will have 8 lug nuts on the wheels.

V10 is the model. the 10 stands for half ton and the V is the model year. the engine is actually a 5.7 liter V8. and yes they do make a V-10. look that up, its just not as old as a 1988. next time don't answer something stupidly.
It is mounted up under the body on the passanger side about half way back.
