Not really. I tend to work on this rule of thumb:

A 1 litre engine (1000cc) is good for 100,000 miles. Therefore a 2 litre engine is good for 200,000 miles. Although, this tends to be the case up until 300,000 miles, because at this point, any car gets tired. Diesels get slightly more wear than petrols, so you should get around 250,000 miles out of a well maintained 2 litre diesel engine.
