No, and in most states illegal if involved in an accident (Georgia Overdrive) i think what your asking is it safe if the car stalls while your moveing done the road can i put it in neutral, yes, it will not hurt anything and you can roll safely to the side of the road.when you are stopped put it back in park,so the car wont roll away
It depends what you mean by 'safe'.Will putting the car in neutral damage the engine? No...when the car is in neutral the two plates that make up the clutch are seperated. Therefore there is no power being transferred to the wheels. However, as there is no where for the engine's stored power to go to you can over rev the engine....which may cause damage if prolonged. Is putting a car in neutral while driving safe? No....when in neutral you have no power and the car will slow down. This may put you in a dangerous position.Hope that helps,CJ
To shift a four-wheeler from fifth gear to neutral, start by pressing the clutch pedal fully to disengage the transmission. While holding the clutch, gently move the gear shifter from fifth gear to the neutral position, which is typically located between the gears. If the vehicle is stationary, you can do this without any issues; however, if it's moving, you may need to slow down to a safe speed before attempting the shift. Always ensure the vehicle is safely controlled before making any gear changes.
The normal process for putting a manual car in neutral is to first completely depress the clutch. After the clutch is fully depressed then it is safe to shift the gear stick into neutral.

THE INHIBITOR SWITCH TELLS THE ECM THAT THE TRANSMISSION IS IN PARK OR NEUTRAL AND SAFE TO START THE MOTOR SOIT ISNT IN GEAR IT IS ALSO CALLED THE NEUTRAL SAFTEY SWITCH AND IT IS LOCATED ON THE TRANSMISSION
You can't drive in neutral. If you mean tow it, not over 30-35 mph and not for more than 10-15 miles. The transmission will heat up and not be able to cool down.
They appear to be a neutral site that lists out a variety of scams and frauds. While many abound that pretend to be neutral but are not, I saw nothing that concerned me while there. They could well be legitimate. However, do not invest in something just because a "neutral" website tells you it's safe.
An engine can fail at any time. Also, if your alternator goes, the car will no longer recharge the battery which means that the car could die after the battery runs out of charge. If you're looking to manually turn off your engine while in motion, the only safe way to do it is to shift into neutral and turn the key to the off position. This can potentially damage the engine, so only do it during emergencies.
Learning how to skid on a fixed gear bike involves mastering the technique of locking up the rear wheel while in motion. To do this, start by practicing in a safe, open area with minimal traffic. Begin by pedaling at a moderate speed, then apply pressure to the pedals while simultaneously pulling up on the handlebars. This will cause the rear wheel to skid and slide along the ground. Remember to wear appropriate safety gear, such as a helmet and gloves, and gradually increase your speed and practice to improve your skidding skills.
Some good continuous spell cards to have are: Card Trader,Wave Motion Cannon,Ancient Gear Castle,Card Of Safe Return, etc.
It is quite likely that you either have no neutral safety switch in that vehicle, that it has been disabled, or that it no longer functions..... the problem, and only really pertinent issue, is that you could give it gas and roll through the taco stand upon starting....or that it produces more drag on the starter upon the moment of initial startup. both of the above assume that we are talking about an auto trans here.....most vehicles would start in gear with or without the clutch depressed until the 80's when we mandated the neutral safety switch, as well as requiring the brake pedal to be depressed before switching from park to any other gear- child safe, or relatively adult safe.....kinda....
You want to remain very safe while cycling, therefore the recommended gear for cycling is a helmet. Then you also may want to cycle competitively, and then you should get Louis Gameau clothing, which will really help to increase your performance while cycling.
