Relative to your bankroll, relative to the other mechanical aspects of the tranny, A Good TC will probably cost you at least $200.00 to $300.00, and the shop cost to disassemble it from the tranny will be at least another 200 to 300. Your gonna have maybe $600.00 into it. Why not consider having a complete rebuild for about 1,000 to 1,200, which could include a T.C. that you buy yourself. The old concept is that your already invested in the disassembly, why not go it all! Think about valve bodies, various gears, seals, etc etc. 100K is a good benchmark! TOPQuark
