This is a '95. You have to remember that it is going on 14 years old. with xxx,000 miles. The brushes wear down and need replaced if you want to rebuild it yourself, they also have the voltage regulator built in which is most of the cost of a new one, but save your self some trouble and buy one with a lifetime replacement at autozone or oreillys. You wont have to pay for another one...ever. They are easy to change.
