There are four wheel sensors, one for each wheel. They are located in the original valve stems. These sensors are for the tire pressure readings on your display in the dash.
Right behind the front wheels and right in front of the back wheels. There are Vendors at Smokinvette.com that sell lifting pucks that are of great quality.
They are in the same place as they are in the C4 and C6, right behind the front wheels and in front of the rear wheels. Go on over to Smokinvette.com and check it out!
Right above the oil filter , in the engine block.
It should be on the right side cylinder head ( passenger side) between and just above #6 and #8 spark plugs. This is where it is on my '95 Corvette.
on all four wheels.. right by the wheel bearing
In a right turn, the rear wheels will track inside the path of the front wheels.
C6 wheels can fit a C4 Corvette with the right modifications, but they are not a direct bolt-on. The C6 wheels have a different offset and width compared to C4 wheels, so adapters or spacers may be needed to ensure proper fitment and clearance. Additionally, the brake components and suspension setup should be considered to avoid any interference. Always consult with a professional for the best fitment options.
This depends on whether or not your wheels are staggered (the front and rear wheels are different sizes). On some years of Corvette all four wheels were the same size, and on some they weren't. For example, I can't rotate the tires on my 95 Corvette because the rear tires are wider than the ones in front. If your tires are different sizes from front to rear but wearing unevenly, an option would be to swap the tires from left to right, keeping them on the same end of the car (ex. right rear to left rear). However, it is very important to note that if your wheels or tires are unidirectional (side specific) or have an asymmetrical tread pattern (the tread changes as it moves across the tire), you won't be able to swap your tires. Also, moving tires from one side to another isn't generally considered rotation. After all, the point of rotating tires and keeping them on the same side of the car is due to the fact that tires develop wear patterns based on your suspension and alignment.Check the tire size for your year Corvette. If all of your tires are the same size, you can rotate them. If they are different sizes but you feel that uneven wear needs to be addressed, consult a mechanic you trust to discuss options.
The Vehicle Speed is taken from the abs tone sensor on the front wheels, I think it is the front right side, easy to check if you have it on stands.
On the 1998 Corvette, the odometer is digital. It should show up digitally right under the speedometer.
more than likely a bad wheel speed sensor
