Is there a way to test the cooling fan relays on a 2001 Venture to determine if they're bad?
Hi,
You can take them out and apply power (12 volts) and ground to the coil side of the relay and then measure the contact side with an ohmmeter to see if the relay is closing (and opening) properly. Normally that is a small diagram on the side or bottom of each relay that shows what pins are for each side.
It might also be nice to know how the system works, so I have included a link that will give you that information.
