The clear covers for the license plate light bulbs have small arrows pointing in one direction. Simply push the cover to the direction of the arrows and the covers will slide off allowing for the old light bulbs to be replaced.

Well, I just replaced mine... I took a thin blade screw driver and gently pried between the rubber seal and the metal and popped the light out, replaced the bulb and popped the light back in. works fine
