Where is the oil pressure sending unit on 1992 ford ranger
driver side above the oil filter
The oil sending unit on a 5.4 liter Ford is located along the side of the engine. It constantly monitors the flow rate and pressure of the oil.
Behind the intake manifold in the center of the engine block.
I believe the oil pressure sending unit for the oil pressure gauge is located on the drivers side of the engine , below the power steering pump ( 4.0 L - OHV - 6 cylinder )
drivers side of engine , below the power steering pump
It is usually located next to the oil filter.
The question should read 1989 Ford F250 7.4 liter engine...Location of Oil Pressure sending unit...
Top center of engine at rear of block behind intake manifold.
It's right on the chrome fuel rail that feeds gas to the injectors.
The oil pressure sending unit on a 302 ford is located on the block of the engine. It screws into the block and the sending unit goes on the end. The oil pressure sending unit on a 302 Ford is slightly above and to the left of the oil filter. I find it is easier to replace with the oil filter out.
I am looking for the location of the oil sending switch on a 2000 F150, or where I can see a diagram or picture of it. Thank You
