on the engine block, behind and under the alternator, you must remove the alternator to get at he thermostat and replacement must be done from under the vehicle. This is a real pain and time consuming job, better to take it in and pay the $125.00 it will cost.

The guys at any NAPA or Pep Boys will come out to the parking lot, open the hood and walk you through it.
