Incorrect wheel installed or bent control arm.
Same thing happened to me, the ball joint bushing wore out, cause the arm to rub against the rim
You replace the rear wheel bearings for a 1997 plymouth breeze by taking it to a very skilled mechanic and just waiting it out. If you want to do it yourself I can't help you with that.
You have to remove the drive side tire and the wheel cover to get to the battery.

The battery is located under the driver side wheel well.

You take off the left front wheel and housing. It isn't under the hood.
the horn fuse for the 97 Plymouth breeze is on the driverside of the dash. open the door and you will see a panel on the end of the dash. pull off the fuse is on the top row last yellow fuse (next to steering wheel).
The speed control switch is on the steering wheel.
Remove the left front wheel and inside fender skirt. The rest becomes obvious.
My question to you is why? ABS works and is a great safety feature. If you REALLY want to.. unplug one of the wheel speed sensors. This will also disable your electronic traction control. Can't have one without the other.

The battery is behind the driver side front wheel behind the protective plastic fender well cover. Towards the engine.
