2.5 inches is the largest lift you can get safely without having to fabricate something for your forward differential.
20" tires are the largest tires for your car if you of course don't have any lift kits..
If you lift up the hood and look to the left, you should see a black, "square" cover. Undo the latches, and lift it up, the filter is in there.
