If you don't fix the problem that is causing the check engine light to come on you can unplug the battery a thousand times and the light will continue to come back on. Have the codes pulled and find out why it's turning it on in the first place.
You have to disconnect the negative battery for 5 min then unhook the positive then re hook the battery this should take care of the pesky engine light if it doesnt then u have to get the code
unhook the positive on the battery for 5 min. This should reset your check engine light if it doesnt then you still have issues.
Double check that the battery works, then check if the engine works.
is the check engine light on? if so it may be the coolant temperature sensor...happened to me...if it doesnt turn over at all try the starter or the battery
It will automatically reset itself after you have started the car 50 times after the problem was fixed, or sometimes if you disconnect the battery for a while it will reset itself.
check voltage of battery with multymeter, check water leval, specific gravitycheck if battery is too hot while cranking
Only the computer can tell what made your check engine light come on. It could be your battery. If your battery is bad, replace it and see if that solves the problem. If it does not, then you will have to connect your car to the computer and find out why the check engine light came on.
You do not have to reset the computer after this repair. If the Check Engine Light is on it is not because you made this repair. If you disconnected the battery the computer will reset itself.
Your battery is probably "broken" Check if you have disabled battery charging And if the charging light is on it is charging and its a good thing. Also check the adaptor with a multimeter (UNPLUG IT FIRST)
i just changed my batterys out on my truck now my check engine light is on?
Check your battery
poor battery connection or battery itself high resistance in battery cables would be some things to check plus beanch test starter itself
