You have lost engine vacuum to the control head. Look under the hood back near the distributor and there should be a vacuum check valve. it is most likely broken or the vacuum line is loose or broken.

it's underneath the rotor in the distributor. you have to take the distributor out to change it.

1992 Chevy trucks did not have a CAM SENSOR. They had a distributor.
That transmission is all computer controlled. No vacuum lines on it.
