the gap on the distributor points is .016, the timing is advanced 4 degrees and the spark plug gap is .030
Bad spark plug and or plug wire. Possibly burnt valve or blown head gasket. And if the engine is mulit-point fuel injected, a malfunctioning injector. A compression test will eliminate a burnt valve or blown head gasket.

Could be that the threads are stripped on the plug or the head where the plug is screwed in. Or maybe it's the wrong plug..
