After the engine has cooled to a certain temp, it should shut off. If it is running constantly, this is an indication the engine is overheating.
no,oil will but temp will not
If you are sure the engine is not running hot then it could be a bad coolant temp sender.
the fan should run after car is tuned off until engine the temp is down ,then it the fan should shut off
The coolant temp sensor screws into the thermostat housing. This is located where the top radiator hose connects to the engine.
Yes it is normal. That is the temperature that the engine was designed to operate.
Trouble code P0128 means:Coolant thermostat (coolant temp below thermostat regulating temp)
Either the linkage from the temp control unit to the valve on the heater core (which is behind the radio and temp controls) or it is the heater core itself.
The themostat is located in the top rad hose on the engine side, but I don't know about the sensor. In my 91 the coolant temp sensor is in the thermostat housing and the engine temp sensor is on the block.
probably CTS coolant temp sensor this thing will drive it crazy.
