Most likely pressure control solenoid in transmission....Easily tested with proper scan tool
ALSO try changing EGR valve. Will REALLY HELP!!!! I just changed mine, all my hard shifting and jerking in reverse went away.
You can't shift gears on an automatic transmission because, as it is called, it's automatic! You don't need to shift, it does it for you. == == Maybe the question should be "Why is my automatic transmission not shifting through gears for me as it should?" Could it be a fairly simlpe fix or am I losing my transmission? Yeah Dopey!
You do not shift a car in GTA 4, since all cars in the game are automatic.
To maintain a smooth driving experience without shifting gears, you can opt for an automatic transmission vehicle. Automatic transmissions shift gears automatically, allowing for a seamless driving experience without the need for manual gear changes.
If your car/truck is having problems shifting, it may be your transmition. You may want to get that checked out.
If the 1997 Nissan Altima with an automatic transmission is shifting gears too early, it could be that the shift solenoid for the transmission is faulty. Both the shift solenoid and the speed sensor on the transmission should be checked.
On a 1995 Saturn SL2, the shift solenoid is located inside the transmission. Specifically, it is typically found on the valve body, which is accessible by removing the transmission pan. The shift solenoid plays a crucial role in controlling the shifting of gears in the automatic transmission. For precise identification, referring to a service manual or schematic for the specific model can be helpful.
A more accurate description of the problem along with if its an automatic or manual transmission is needed.
Because it is. The transmission of an automatic does for you what you have to do if driving a stick. it does that whole clutch in shift for you, supposedly making it more efficient in usage of gas.
there is a slight way if you have a good enough engine and some skill its called power shifting you should google it
if its a manual transmission its your pressure plate if its an automatic it could be the disc attached to your flywheel
shifting rod
If a vehicle, manual or automatic, does not shift into a certain gear, there may be a problem with that gear. Gears get worn and need replacing in a vehicle's lifetime.
