If the light is on continuously, something is wrong with your emissions control system. Could be anything from a bad oxygen sensor to a gas cap, etc...usually little to worry about, especially if your state does not have an emissions inspection. Take it to an AutoZone or Advance Auto Parts store and they'll read the code for free or low cost.
