One possibility for the squeak is that the brake pads are getting worn out. The pads have a small metal tab on them that, when the pads are nearing the end of their life, will start to touch the metal brake disc causing a metallic squeal to warn the driver. If this is the case, replace them sooner than later, it will only get worse and more expensive to repair as time passes. Another possibility is that the wheel bearing is worn out, or damaged, or insufficiently lubricated. As with above, service the problem sooner than later.
