Sorry- the actual buzzer- I'm not sure.
But it may help that imo the correct term should be "TAIL Light Warning Buzzer" It's wired in with the TAIL lights. The headlights are on a different circuit so they will work fine.
where are the timing gear marks on a 1997 chev s10 2.2 located
This is for a 1993 Chevy S-10 Pickup (caveat- NON expert- shade tree mechanic :)I never found the buzzer- it's 'somewhere' under the dash. My hearing isn't good enough to pinpoint the sound's origin, especially while assuming the obgyn position under the dash. What I want to contribute is, for my car, the "Headlight Warn Buzzer" should, imho,be named- the tail light warning buzzer. Tail lights (running lights, side markers, YMMV :) come on with the headlights, but have separate fuse/wiring. The buzzer is powered by the TAIL light circuit.btw, for instrument lights out, check TWO fuses: The "Inst Light" fuse, and (you guessed it:) the "TAIL light" fuse.Moral of the story- tail lights power much more than just . . . tail lightshth
