in the fuse box : round and silver as a rule about the size of a silver dollar made of metal
visit parts store and have them look at it...they should be able to locate the item for you there.
if ur talking bout the headlights flasher on the sides u should be able to locate the screws from the inside of ur hood and unscrew them maybe the whole headlight might come off but some pontiacs u can take them apart and replace only the signal flasher
The flasher/relay for the turn signal/hazard is located behind the hazard button. To access it, you need to remove the dash bezel. Use caution when you go to detach the relay. you need 2 small screw drivers to release the 2 retaining clips on the back of bezel. I spoke with local Chevy dealer and ended up purchasing a Haynes book to verify where it was. As of today, I wasn't able to locate the flasher/relay from any other parts store....dealer item!
Hi, I have to add that I have a '97 and I went out to find the flasher. All I can say is that I can hear it, but I can't find the darn thing. It sounds as if it's near the radio...but I'm befuddled. So just a small thing is the fuse first, it's located below the dash on the left. The other fuse is under the hood but that one is also for the ignition. I hope someone is able to locate the flasher itself. Steve H.
The turn signal flasher relay switch and the emergency flasher relay switch are the same switch. The relay switch might be labeled as the emergency flasher switch, but it is also the signal flasher relay switch.
I would check with someone who works at a local office furniture store. They should able to tell you if they themselves carry the product, or be able to point you in the right direction to locate it.
Find it, remove (or just lower) the under-dash lower panel by removing 2 screws. The cube-shaper flasher is clipped to the inside of the upper panel left of the steering wheel, and is plugged into a harness of several wires bundled into one cable. You will probably need to locate it by feel -it may help to activate the turn signal if either direction is working, the click will help you locate the flasher by feel. Remove it and take it to an auto parts store for a replacement unit - Autozone (just for example) has it in stock at all stores, not even in the back room. Plug in the new flasher from where you removed the bad one. You probably won't be able to clip it back where it was, just stuff it up in there and replace the panel.
there is no way you will be able to do that
It is under stering wheel column on the far right side right by the radio, there is nothing else there. If have trouble finding it unscrew the panel and turn the flasher on and off, we will be able to hear a light click from the flasher even if it out of order.
The flasher relay unit is under a black case on the passenger side firewall. To get into it you need to remove the plastic wiper surround to be able to access the screws.
The flasher is located on the steering column, remove both screws holding the plastic covering. Once it's removed, the turn signal/wipers switch should be visible. The flasher isdead in the center of the switch on the back. Will need to remove the switch to get to the flasher. It's a square flasher and you may be able to find at Oreilly auto parts. That's where i got mine.
it is located behind the ciggeratte lighter. But you have to have the star drivers to be able to get to it
