This is a question that is really dear to my heart. I have a 2005 and would go in for oil changes and they never checked it because they thought that it was sealed. I always thought that they did check it. One oil change the guy wrote did not preform because tranny is sealed. I went back out and checked the fluid and it was not on dip stick. filled and everything was fine.
It is center front and look way down toward bottom. little stick king of in front of fan. I scrape my knuckles checking it.
In the 2006 Saturn Vue, the oil dipstick is in the left corner of the engine. It is the yellow plastic pull ring.
i have a 2003 Saturn vue and there is no dipstick for the transmission fluid. its a plug. you have to take you car to a shop and get them to check it... i know it sounds crazy. but they usually have to put it on a lift to get to it.
I have the same question on a 2006 Saturn Vue 3.5 v6 awd, it is supposed to be in the rear center of the engine but I haved looked everywhere and cannot find it.
Only the manual transmission Vue can be flat-towed.
To add transmission fluid to a Saturn Vue, locate the transmission dipstick, which is usually found near the back of the engine bay. Remove the dipstick, clean it, and then use a funnel to pour the appropriate transmission fluid into the dipstick tube. Always check the owner’s manual for the correct type of fluid and ensure the vehicle is on a level surface while checking and adding fluid.
Take it to a Goodwrench certfied shop. The transmission in the Saturn Vue has no dipstick, so requires service by a certified mechanic. Unless you have a leak, which you would obviously see, there is no need to check the fluid level.
How do you check the transmission fluid on a 2003 Saturn vue
where does the dipstick is located on a saturn
I found a diagram for the rear door of a 2006 Saturn Vue at this loaction: https://www.google.com/#q=2006+saturn+Vue+rear+door+diagram
No, a 3.5 Saturn Vue transmission will not fit a 2.2 Saturn Vue. The two models have different engine configurations and transmission designs, making them incompatible with each other. It's essential to use the correct transmission designed for the specific engine type to ensure proper functionality.
The transmission filter on a 2006 Saturn Vue is located inside the transmission, typically accessed by removing the transmission pan. To reach it, you'll need to drain the transmission fluid, remove the pan, and then take out the filter. It's advisable to consult the vehicle’s service manual for detailed instructions and safety precautions before attempting this task.
