Henry Ford had a younger brother named William Ford, who was born in 1868. William helped Henry with the early days of the Ford Motor Company, although he did not become as prominent in the automotive industry as his brother. The Ford family had a strong influence in the development of early American industry, with both brothers contributing to their family's legacy. Henry's other siblings included a sister named Margaret and another brother named Arthur.
Henry Ford began building the world's largest automobile factory in MI. It was almost 7 million sq. ft. and it employed 81,000 people which was the max. capacity. The assembly line led to a more efficient automobile production. This large plant accomplished Ford's dream of mass production and led to the "Gasoline Age". This "Gasoline Age" was instituted because now gas stations, auto repair places, and other needs for an automobile were needed. In essence, Henry Ford not only created jobs in his company, but many others because of his Model T.
The engine/transmission and all other drive components can be found in other large Ford cars of that era. But only the drive train is the same as other Fords. All the body panels, and interior parts are specific to the Thunderbird and are not interchangeable with any other Ford.
Although he did invent the assembly line, he also invented the Model T Ford automobile.
