In the country there is less access to a wide variety of jobs, lower wages on average, less variety of commercial and retail outlets for shopping and general purchases, less variety and quantity of people to choose from for friendships and relationships, less exposure to different cultures, cultural experiences that are located in population centres like theatres, musicals, museums, large libraries, clubs and pubs and restaurants.

The advantages are a healthier environment to live in, no traffic, lower housing prices that may be more affordable, less stress from a hectic filthy, crowded unnatural environment. Access to clean rivers or oceans to swim in, forests, plants and trees, well oxygenated clean air, often a more friendly and connected community, the option of having a decent sized piece of land and decent sized house to live on, the option of having a big beautiful garden, both both vegetables, fruits, herbs, aesthetic garden designs etc.
