hey, i am currently rebuilding a Ford 5.4 Triton v8 and have just installed the crankshaft. the crankshaft bolts are NOT reusable and are torque to yield,therefore specs are only reliable if new bolts are used. with new bolts: go though the entire sequence to 35 ft. lbs. 2nd sequence: tighten an additional 90 degrees.
