You may need egr valve checked .
You may need intake decarbonized .
You may need mass air flow sensor .
Usually a problem in the emission control system - have vehicle scanned to determine the problem
check the fuses on top off the battery they may have blown..........or it may be a dodgy temp sensor....
A seized up transmission can cause a Volkswagen Golf with an automatic transmission to not shift and racing RMPs after second. A worn gear can also prevent shifting.
It is the alternator....
Lack of propulsion.

start with the spark plugs
Most likely cause is that you need your tires rebalanced. The only other thing I can think of is since you didn't put at what speeds this happens at is you could have a small buldge in one of your tires
the Plates shifting
you have a vacuum leak
Burning rubber, or screeching the tires, and then accelerating.
