I would like to know that myself. I have a 1990 2.4L Caravan. I put in a used tranny when the other failed. a Month later it started to bog down while driving. It only happens when the engine heats up. Then I have to floor it to get to speed and it still acts like the engine cuts out and comes back and cuts out again.
I stand on the brake while in gear and give it gas and it starts to stumble.
Put it in park and rev it and the engine runs fine.
I am wondering if it isn't the shift solenoid?
There is a problem with the downstream oxygen sensor. I would replace it.
A 2001 Dodge Caravan doesn't have a knock sensor.
yes
my 1999 dodge caravan did the same thing and it was the speed sensor gone in it.THE speed sensor is located on top of transmission drivers side. Have it checked for codes, could be major or minor.
