Could be needing a wheel balance , but more than likely you have a dry U joint in the drive shaft, if U joints have been greased recently, u need new U joints

Sorry but a dry U joint causing a steering wheel to vibrate, come on!

Wheels being out of balance, Yes~ Possible bad wheel bearing is another reason as is a bad tire road and so on... Have it checked out by a shop soon! Good luck.
