It COULD be the bolts to the torque converter or a cracked "flex plate". It could also be internal problems. ANSWER Another guy asked the same. He told to lube the yoke at the end of the rear transmission. I have the same problem and I am going to try this. I have just repaired the automatic tranmsmission and the clunk is still there. May be the solution is simple and not expensive. Good luck

Stalling while driving may be caused by a collapsing or kinked neoprene fuel line.
I would suspect a faulty fuel pump or fuel pump relay.
Blowen motor
A clunking sound upon engine start-up may be caused by several issues, including a loose or damaged engine mount, which can result in excessive movement of the engine. Another potential cause could be a failing starter motor or its gear engaging improperly with the flywheel. Additionally, low oil levels or oil sludge could lead to insufficient lubrication during start-up, causing metal components to make contact and produce a clunking noise. It's advisable to have a mechanic inspect the vehicle to diagnose and resolve the issue.

Starting off in second gear can help improve traction and reduce wheel spin, especially in slippery conditions. It provides a smoother acceleration and is often used in manual transmissions for driver control. In some vehicles, particularly those with automatic transmissions, starting in second gear can also enhance fuel efficiency in certain driving scenarios. Additionally, it can prevent the engine from revving too high, contributing to a more comfortable driving experience.
Either it needs CV joints or the tires need to be balanced.
