The monsoon amplifier in a 2002 Firebird is typically located in the trunk area, specifically on the driver's side behind the trim panel. To access it, you'll need to remove the trunk liner and the panel covering the amplifier. This amplifier powers the Monsoon audio system, providing enhanced sound quality for the vehicle's audio setup.
if i was to guess i would say behind the factory stereo, of maybe its the monsoon it could be on the factory amp.
Nope. The Trans Am radio was like the rest of the Pontiac radios, but only the Trans Ams had the 'Monsoon' on the radio face. No other ones did. Nope. The Trans Am radio was like the rest of the Pontiac radios, but only the Trans Ams had the 'Monsoon' on the radio face. No other ones did.
it is a premium factory upgrade. pretty much the best that the "factory" can do.
Front speakers are 6.5 rear are 6X9.
The factory installed Monsoon system does not have one. but you can replace it with on that does.
with the proper instillation and dash kit...yes, but you also may need to check and see that the wire harness will fit on each and make sure that they are interchangable.-Shocker
Depending on if you have the Monsoon sound system or not, it may differ. If you don't have Monsoon: Front Doors: 6 1/2" & 1" Tweeters Rear Deck: 6 x 9 I'm not sure what is in a Monsoon system, I do not have one, but I hear that it has 8 speakers throughout the car.
Take it to a dealer and have them reset the security.
If you have the factory installed Monsoon stero, you cannot. Must must but a new stereo that has an audio jack.
no it does not come with one buy you can buy an adapter to plug into the back of the headunit that will give you one
