What could cause a manual transmission 2003 Toyota Echo to vibrate-rattle while shifting into first and from first to second?

vibrating 03 EchoI assume it just started and that you are not just learning to drive a manual shift. Clutch disc worn or the springs in it bad,or the pressure plate weak, the flywheel warped, but on an 03 it would have to have been driven real hard. You don't say about 2nd to 3rd. It is almost certain to be inside, and nothing that can just be adjusted. May just be time for a new clutch. Just as a check, have someone else drive it and see if they have the same problem
