Replace it.
Fords are well known for glitches in the window switches, although it could also be the motor.
Could be an exhaustn leak, however, probably a loose pushrod. If it is running alright, it won't be for long unless you get the valves adjusted.
Could be a bearing, could be a motor, could be something (like a sock) caught up in there...tough to say without opening her up!
If you are referring to the blower motor squealing, then I would suspect the blower motor bearings have failed.
Is it overheating. Cheapest is a bad waterpump. Or worse, headgasket blown, or bad motor. Bad crankpulley could cause not to start, but would not cause overheating unless belt came off.
The symptoms you describe are common to most vehicles which use a blower and MOTOR to circulate the air. There could be several reasons, but since the squealing occurs only when either mode is in use suggests that the cause is that the bushings [bearings] in the blower motor are worn and beginning to gall. If this is the cause, it will require replacement of the blower motor.j3h.
It depends on what's tapping. You may have a bad lifter or a valve problem.
You have a blower motor behind your glovebox. The bearings are probably going out in it and the motor needs to be replaced.
If the blower in a 2009 Kia Spectra only works when tapped, it may indicate a problem with the blower motor itself or a faulty connection. The tapping could temporarily restore contact in a worn-out electrical connector or a failing motor brush. Additionally, a malfunctioning blower motor resistor could cause intermittent operation. It's advisable to inspect the blower motor and its connections for wear or damage.
