1 The Model T
Before the Model T, Henry Ford built several models, primarily through his early automotive ventures. He created the Ford Quadricycle in 1896, which was his first successful vehicle. He also worked on the Model A in 1903, the Model B in 1904, and the Model C in 1905, among others. In total, he developed around five significant models before launching the groundbreaking Model T in 1908.
I assume you are referring to production of the Model T. In the beginning it took 12.5 hours to build each Model T. But by the 1920s Ford was producing a Model T in 93 minutes.
The Dodge Brothers were Ford's partners and made 99% of the parts used to build the Model T.
Henry Ford was one of the first people to build an automobile in the U.S. He was not the forst to build an automobile however. That was done long before his time in different countries. But he started the Ford company and improved automobiles.
I assume you're referring to the model T. The model T could be built by one person if he had the time and the parts available. According to Ford Motor Company records it took 12.5 man-hours to build the model T.
The Ford Model S preceded the Model T. It was a Model K with right hand steering.
