LS = Luxury SportLT = Luxury Touring
Trim levels. The LS has more "goodies".
they are different trim levels
ls is a trim level
LS used to be luxury sport and lt luxury touring but they have become diluted by Chevrolet. Now they just designate trim levels with LS generally being the base
The LS is the Trim level or luxury level of the truck. LS designates the lowest trim level. LT is higher and LTZ is the highest. The LS trim level is still a very well equiped truck but higher levels include leather and sunroofs etc.
the Trailblazer EXT is the long wheelbase version. LS and LT are simply trim levels.
The LS is just a trim level designation that may or may not have a meaning. In the past LS meant Luxury Sedan.
Yes, They can be switched.
To determine if your 2005 Chevy Silverado is an LT or LS, check the vehicle's trim level on the door jamb sticker or the owner’s manual, which lists the specifications. The LT typically features more upscale options, including additional chrome accents, upgraded audio systems, and leather seating, while the LS often has more basic features. Additionally, you can look for specific badging on the exterior or interior that may indicate the trim level. Finally, you can consult the vehicle identification number (VIN) for more detailed information about the trim level.

The LS is lower trim level than the LT. The LT cost more but has better features like optional leather seats, heated mirrors, heated seats, power seats also and tire size might be different. A Silverado LS is the base truck (but can have options added such as power locks and windows), a LT has more options than a LS and a LTZ has all the bells and whistles. However, you can have a LT with added options that would make it essentially a LTZ, or have a LS truck with extra options that would essentially make it a LT with standard options.
Just some trim packages. LS is the base package and the LT is the next step up. But you are able to get an LS with the LT trim. Just different options is really what the difference is.
