Check Fuses
On a 2004 Ford Expedition : In the overhead console there is a button marked " VENT " ( that is used to open and close the power rear side windows )
Use the VENT control buttons in the overhead console
The last year Ford pickups featured vent windows was 1996. These small, hinged windows were common in older truck designs, allowing for better ventilation. After 1996, Ford transitioned to a different design without vent windows in their pickups.
The primary cause of gas fumes in a Ford Expedition is a leak in the gas tank or vent. This allows fuel vapors to enter the cabin and poses many health risks.
To close the rear vent windows on a 2000 Ford Windstar, locate the window control switches on the rear door panel. Press the switch down to close the vent windows, making sure to hold it until the windows are fully closed. If the windows are not responding, check for any obstructions or issues with the window regulators. If problems persist, it may be necessary to consult a mechanic for further assistance.
On a 2004 Ford Expedition , 4x4 : The front differential has a tube ( hose ) coming off the top of the differential ( the biggest part of the case where the gears are )
i dont know you tell me?
According to the owners manual there are 2 switches ( for left and right flip out windows ) in the front overhead console that have the word VENT on them
Switch on the center dashboard that says 'vent'.
I was looking at the 2004 Ford Freestar Owner Guide and it shows that the SINGLE switch for the power vent windows is located on the dash ( but not where on the dash , not much help ! ) The switch has " VENT " on it
The amplifier that powers the subwoofer is located just above and to the left of the subwoofer (rear passenger side underneath vent window).
I had the same problem with my expedition and they said it was the vent door on the blower which is located in back of the glover compartment. In order for them to replace that part they have to take the dash board apart.
