probably a TH700, but take a look underneath
Technically the lug pattern reads out at 5x4.27 if you look it up online, but its actually 5x5. I have a 1991 Chevy Caprice Classic, and this caused me some problems when I first buoght it.
on the side of the carb. look for the word filter and an arrow near a inlet nut...unscrew the nut and out pops the filter!
Look at your timing scale the 305 times from behind the water pump & the 350 times in front of the water pump.
The 1989 Chevy Caprice 305 V8 does not have a carburetor. It is equipped with Throttle Body Fuel Injection which may look like a carburetor but is not.

You will need to look underneath to see what part the coolant is leaking out of. When you find the source, you will know the failed part.

it's about 16 inches long and 8-10 in. wide the number to ask for at the parts store is 6153 or d6153. it is located on your right front corner under your hood.rectangular cap must be unscrewed to reveal.
The answer is simple. It's all in the trim. The Caprice for that year was basic. Nothing, if anything, powered. Mostly manual windows, bench seat, manual to move seats, just a plain car. The Classics and Broughams were the elite or more classy and better powered versions. In the law enforcement communities, all caprice models were used. The spare is under the car, in the rear held by a hanger assembly. Same as a lot of trucks. (it could have been removed look for the bracket).
