What does a diagnostic code 24 mean in a Chevy Caprice?

code 24- Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) Fault in this circuit should be indicated only when the vehicle is in motion and, disregard this code if the wheel's are not rolling, if the wheels are turning, check connection, then check the TPS sensor, (Throttle Position Sensor.)

Of course don't check it while the car is moving lol.

All I meant was that the error is valid only when the car is in motion.

Ignore it if the car is idling in place.
