get a code scanner, or borrow one from a parts store, plug it in and clear codes
There are different wire colors that you might need to worry about. You can use the users manual to figure out which colors to use.
Check all connectors for moisture and dry them out.
Plug in a portable code reader. It will display the trouble code, then you find it in the book provided with the code reader. That code will tell you the area that is causing the light to come on.
Not knowing what the following codes are will not allow someone to know which indicate an Oldsmobile 88. Information should be provided as to what the codes are.
Trouble code P0327 means: Knock sensor #1 circuit low input (Bank 1 or single sensor) Trouble code P0332 means: Knock sensor #2 circuit low input (Bank 2) Trouble code P0336 means: Crankshaft position sensor "A" range or performance problem
