What all does the ECM computer control on my 2006 Chevy k1500 Silverado
no ECM's in a 1981
do you have link and program a 88 cilverado ecm when replacing
Take the inside of the glove box out and look into the right side and you will see it.
YES it is.
The ECM is what controls all the electronics in a truck. The is what controls it in all cars.
Disconnect the battry for one hour: then reconnect-That should do it.
There is no inertia switch on the Chevy truck it runs from the ecm , oil pressure switch and relay.
It is the engine control module (computer)
for the ECM, sorry i left that part out
The Engine Control Module (ECM) in a 2003 Chevy Silverado is typically located under the hood, mounted on the driver's side near the front of the engine compartment. It is usually found near the brake master cylinder or behind the air intake assembly. In some models, it may be housed within a protective cover. Always refer to the vehicle's service manual for specific details and diagrams.
In a 1988 Chevy pickup the ECM is located behind the glovebox.
The ecm is the engine control module. I'm not sure what a ecu is.
