its shiney silver with a 223 cap
If it is like the ( 1996 ) Ford Escort : The BRAKE FLUID RESERVOIR is also the CLUTCH FLUID RESERVOIR
Maybe the ford escape just doesn't have a tight turning circle at all. Maybe all Ford Escapes are like that.
Actually , the clutch is operated by a cable so there isn't a clutch reservoir like there is on a hydraulic clutch
sounds like the filler tube in your car is clogged, take the car to a mechanic and have it checked
Sounds like the power brake booster is bad. Get it checked out.
My 2002 Ford Escape XLS 3.0 v6 has a governor at about 108, but feels like it could do around 120-125
I was looking at the 2000 Ford F-350 Owner Guide and the drawing shows that when you look in the engine compartment from the front of the vehicle , the clutch fluid reservoir is by the firewall just to the left of the brake fluid reservoir ( like the brake fluid reservoir it takes DOT 3 brake fluid meeting Ford specification ESA-M6C25-A )
Should be on firewall next to master cylinder
I just replaced the ECM in my 2005 Escape & I did have to have a Locksmith come out & REPROGRAM the Key Codes into the computer. When You turn on your ignition, the red THEFT light will probably start flashing fast & the engine will not turn over. This means it doesnt like your key. Time to call the Locksmith or drag it to the dealership to get it reprogrammed.
On a 2001 Ford Mustang the clutch is operated by a cable , so it does not have a clutch fluid reservoir like a hydraulic clutch
I have a 2005 Limited Escape, there is a button, looks kind of like the button that you would roll down your windows with, but it has a lightbulb on it, this controls your dash lights. Mine is located on the left of my steering wheel just above the latch to open my hood.
The manual transaxle ( transmission ) on your Ford Escape does not have a fluid level dipstick like the automatic would normally have ( it is probably checked at the FILL PLUG on your transmission , underneath the vehicle )
