It is not a "warning" light but an indicator that you have pressed the button near the shifter to put the tranny into tow mode.
There is a green "POWER" light that comes on this 2004 Chevy Tracker. The light simi circular in the lower right corner of dash. There is no mention of any kind of power light in the owners mannual. The local chevy service dept. has no idea?? Can you help me?
HI, The "Power" light means that the power mode switch and been presed to have more power available, to turn the light off just press the switch to return it to "Normal". Steve H.
it means the internal rubberband needs to be rewound. It means you have accidently hit the power button by the gear shift. Simply switch back to normal (N) and the light will go out.
The power indicator light on a 2003 Chevy Tracker typically indicates that the vehicle is in "Power" mode, which allows for enhanced acceleration and responsiveness by altering the transmission shift points. This feature is often used for situations requiring more power, such as towing or driving on steep inclines. When the light is illuminated, it confirms that this mode is active; turning it off usually returns the vehicle to standard driving mode. Always consult the owner's manual for specific information regarding indicator lights and their meanings.
