Should be a drain plug at bottom of transmission Should be a fill plug at side of transmission - fill to this level
It should, they didnt switch to the AX15 transmission until 1997. So from 89 to 96 it remained unchanged.
I prefer Pennzoil synchromesh
For a 1994 Jeep Wrangler, the recommended transmission oil depends on the specific transmission type. If it has a manual transmission, Mopar Manual Transmission Fluid or equivalent 75W-90 gear oil is typically used. For automatic transmissions, you should use ATF+4 fluid. Always consult the owner's manual for the most accurate specifications.
Drivers side, about half way up the side of the trans, should be a torx bolt.
Is it manual or auto. If auto drop the pan with all the screws on it. If a manual then there should be a large bolt that says drain on it.
On the passenger side of the transmission there should be two large hex-screws towards the top. The upper one is the transmission fill plug.
You should use atf +4 in your wrangler transmission
As long as the engines are the same the trans should fit
When parking uphill in a car with a manual transmission you should park with the transmission in what?
